Tabo sa Bohol program is an innovation of OPA providing partner agri-entrepreneurs and farmers to sell farm products at an affordable price direct to Boholano consumers. They display their goods in 3 sites periodically to provide a venue for farmers produce to be marketed directly to consumers. Tabo sa Bohol were established in the Old Airport of Tagbilaran, Dauis and Alburquerque. In total, 96 Tabo Exhibitors were assisted and served 89,973 families who bought from the exhibitors at a very affordable price. Tabo sa Bohol have raked in 30,085,184 million pesos in total sales from January to December of 2022.
Another innovation in relation to agribusiness is the KADIWA MOBILE MARKET which is in partnership with the Department of Agriculture. So far, 3 exhibitors already visited the province namely Region 7, Region 9 and Region 11 who brought various agriculture and fishery commodities to the province and sold it at an affordable price. It obtained a total of 3.6 Million total sales visiting a total of 11 sites in Old City Airport of Tagbilaran, Loay, Albur, Loboc, Carmen, Panglao, Pilar, Bilar, Talibon, Sagbayan and Dauis. Approximately 10,000 families benefitted from the program in 2022.
Periodic price monitoring was conducted totaling to 280 monitoring in 2022 in different markets throughout the year. There were 6 price surveillance activities both done to ensure that prices of prime agri-fishery commodities are following the suggested retail prices of the DA.
Promotional events were also done as part of the agribusiness section to promote farming and the agriculture sector in general to ensure sustainability of the sector through the yearly Sandugo Agri-Fair in July 18-20 and World Food Day in October 2022.
