ISDA Program 2022
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 29 Series of 2022 Creating Task Force Isda in the Province of Bohol, the ISDA Program was also initiated to address the incessant soaring prices of fish in the province. This paved the way for the establishment of 2 fish stalls within the city to sell fish products at an affordable price giving an option to the consumers to buy fish instead of fish in major wet markets that are sold at high prices. The two fish stalls are located in the Old Airport and Dao Wet Market all in Tagbilaran City.
From its inception, the ISDA Program has brought in 12,800.39 kilograms of fish supply with an allocation of 2 million pesos. So far, recorded total gross sales for the ISDA Program is pegged at P 1,675,372.00 pesos. As to the objective of lowering the price of fish, during the implementation of the ISDA Program, a 4% decrease of price in major wet markets in Tagbilaran was observed. This program will be replicated in other municipalities as its impact is yet to reach other areas who also experienced high prices in fishery products.
