Tabo sa Plaza has new location on April

The “Tabo sa Plaza” sellings of the organically and naturally grown agricultural products and Boholano delicacies every Wednesday will no longer at the Plaza Rizal in front of the old Capitol but in its new location at the bagsakan area in front of Camp Bernido and beside the Provincial Health Office (PHO), Purok 4, Dao, Tagbilaran City starting April 2, 2019.

It is remembered that the “Tabo sa Plaza” was started sometimes on December 2015 sellings vegetables, root crops, processed foods and Boholano delicacies such as; budbod, suman, potomaya, fruits, among others from the Kapunungan sa Bol-anong Organikong Mag-uuma (kaBoOM), Association of Individuals Moving for Progress (AIM), Balilihan Association of Women’s Development (BAWOD), First Consolidated Bank (FCB) Foundation, and other farmer entrepreneurs.

Rosanna G. Lamdagan, chief-Agribusiness Division, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) said the Tabo sa Plaza in its new strategically location will sell every Tuesday and Wednesday selling beside the Bohol Seaweeds Farmers Agriculture Cooperative (BSFAC) who will sell fish at the cheaper prices compared to the wet markets.

The KaBoOM, AIM, BAWOD, and FCB Foundation could also sell their products at the Department of Agriculture (DA) Market and Tienda at the Bohol-Agricultural Promotion Center (B-APC) Compound every Thursdays and Fridays of the week, Lamdagan said.

Meanwhile, she also said that one of the highlights in the celebration of the women’s month will be the three-day Tabo Sa Plaza which will be scheduled tomorrow on Tuesday and Wednesday, wherein the women led entrepreneurs will sell vegetables, fruits, processed products and Boholano delicacies.

While, the Bohol Association of Women In Government Service (BAWIGS) is in-charge for the rummage sale.

Lamdagan urged the public to patronize the Tabo sa Plaza to encourage our farmer entrepreneurs to sustain their business in farming. (Atoy Cosap)
