Carmen tops in Sandugo Agri-Fair 2019contests
The town of Carmen ranked overall champ in the different contests conducted of the fair. It bested the other 15 municipalities who participated in the Sandugo Agri-Fair 2019 slated Tuesday to Friday.
Aside from showcasing and selling of Boholano Agricultural products, the just-concluded agri-fair highlighted contests for best booth, Imelda Papin and Renz Verano voices alike, bahal drinking contests (male and female categories), rice pounding and winnowing, coconut dehusking and grating, bangus deboning, tilapia cleaning and filleting and the “pinaka” (ampalaya, upo, eggplant, squash, jack fruit, watermelon, banana, camote, cassava, young corn, and cacao pod).
The town of Carmen bested other contestants when they landed first in Imelda Papin’s voice alike, rice pounding and winnowing, bangus deboning, bahal drinking contest (male), and in “pinaka” on cacao pod, camote and banana (cardava) contests categories.
The town of Talibon landed in second place after they emerged as first of the four contest categories for best booth, and in the “pinaka” on watermelon, squash and ampalaya.
