PGBh steps up HEAT IT agri caravan

The Provincial government of Bohol (PGBh) through the countryside development Program-Purok Power Movement (CDP-PPM) has fast tracked the conduct of the HEAT IT Medical-Dental and Agri Caravan and Handover and Oath-Taking Ceremonies of Sectoral Working Committee Volunteers in the different remote barangays in Bohol.

This month, activities were held in barangay San Roque in Sagbayan last Friday and barangay Campagao in Bilar yesterday, while same activities will be held in Maitum, Catigbian (July 10, 2018); Cambacay, Batuan (July 12, 2018); Aloja, Batuan (July 16, 2018); La Victoria, Carmen (July 20, 2018); Bagtic, Catigbian (July 26, 2018); and Villaflor, Carmen on July 31, 2018.

Punong Barangay William Zulueta of San Roque, Sagbayan last Friday and Punong Barangay Dennis Remedio of Campagao, Bilar thanked the PGBh through Gov. Edgar M. Chatto for turning over some items and bringing in free services to their barangay folks.

The activity of Campagao, Bilar was also highlighted with the presence of 21 Miss Bohol Sandugo 2018 candidates who assisted in the mass feeding and other medical procedures like blood pressure monitoring and weighing.

In every HEAT IT Medical/Dental and Agri Caravan, the PGBh in coordination with the Municipal Local Government Units (MLGUs), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police PNP turned over carabaos, piglets, plastic tables, plastic chairs, water pumps, hand tractor with trailers, mechanical threshers, rice transplanters, coconut and fruit tree seedlings, vegetable seeds, food packs, bolos and computer sets,

Other free services given were medical and dental, animal health services, massage hair cut and circumcision.

The program has reached 117 remote barangays in Bohol since 2011 under the administration of Gov. Chatto. (Atoy Cosap)
