Prov’l Agri holds team building activity

Aiming at strengthening good relationship, camaraderie, and developing self-confidence among employees of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA), thus team building must conducted according to Assistant Provincial Agriculturist Larry M. Pamugas, who led the OPA Family in conducting the team building activity last Tuesday at the Sun Island Hut Resort in Libaong, Panglao, Bohol.

Pamugas said, annually the OPA employees have conducted the activity to re-orient on the Strategic Performance Management System and Enhanced Internal Rules and Regulation of the office.

Also, the OPA conducts general assembly every last Monday of the month wherein the chiefs of research and agri support services (RASS), planning, administration, agribusiness, fishery, and crops and productivity division would render their reports involving the performance of their division based on their targets.

Pamugas explained that through this strategy, the problems encountered in the implementation of the targets would be identified and be given solutions.

On his part, Isabelito Tongco, executive assistant to the governor for and in behalf of Gov. Edgar M. Chatto lauded the OPA and said that of all the offices of the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), the OPA is the most unique and lively office.

Tongco was highly impressed by the employees who actively participated in the contests,

The  executive assistant to the governor also acted as chairman of the judges in the “Mutya sa Agrikultura” tilt to highlight the activity. Rheza Gutierrez of the fishery division was crowned “Mutya sa Agrikultura 2018”.
