SUHID 2018 extends deadline for submission of nominations
The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) has extended the deadline to June 15, 2018 to accept the nominations for the different categories of the SUHID sa Malampusong Mag-uumang Bol-anon 2018.
The OPA granted the requests of some Municipal
Agricultural Officers/ Municipal Agriculturist (MAOs/MAs) who were not able to beat the deadline on May 30, 2018.
Eleno L. Evangelista SUHID-focal Person bared that of the 33 categories of the search they have only received 22 nominees.
Evangelista explained that the OPA accepts the nomination forms to be submitted but the scrapbooks of the nominees are needed during the evaluation.
He said that starting this year, there are 11 categories with the corresponding prizes added to the usual 22 categories namely: Outstanding Small Farmer-Individual P5,000; Outstanding Small Farmer Group P15,000; Outstanding Organic Farming Family P10,000; Outstanding Municipal Focal Person P5,000; Outstanding Municipality P10,000.00; Outstanding Provincial Focal Person P5,000; Outstanding Extension Worker P5,000; Outstanding 4-H Club (In School) P10,000; Outstanding small Animal Raiser P5,000; Outstanding Large Animal Raiser P5,000; Outstanding Organic Young Farmer P5,000;

The SUHID sa Malampusong Mag-uumang Bol-anon is an annual search of the province to give recognition to Boholano farmers who have excelled in their field in agriculture. (Atoy Cosap)
