Sandugo Agri-Fair flowers, garden show to open Wed.

The Sandugo Flower and Garden Show ushers the month-long celebration of the Sandugo Festival 2018 as it formally opens on Wednesday at the Plaza Rizal in Tagbilaran City.

Rosanna G. Lamdagan, division head – agribusiness division, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) said the ornamental growers have already started to display flowers, fruit tree seedlings at the Plaza Rizal grounds last Friday.

Lamdagan said about 47 members of the Bohol Gardeners and Landscapers Association will showcase their ornamentals in the whole month of July.

She said this annual activity aims to help the ornamental growers to promote their products and to beautify more the Plaza Rizal, the promenade in the heart of the city.

Lamdagan disclosed that the show is part of the activities of the Sandugo Agri-Fair which is slated July 17-20, 2018 at the Bohol-Agricultural Promotion Center (B-APC) grounds to showcase the Boholano agricultural products and to recognize the Boholano farmers who help in shaping up the agricultural landscape in Bohol.

She said this is a month-long activity. People can buy variety of flowers and fruit tree seedlings at very reasonable price.

The Bohol Gardeners and Landscapers Association and Tagbilaran City Gardeners and Landscapers Association are the assisted associations of the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) through the OPA. (Atoy Cosap)
