The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) awarded and recognized the winners of the 17thUbi Festival held January 20-23, 2017 at the Plaza Rizal this city.
The four-day 17th Ubi Festival was formally opened last Friday at the Bohol Cultural Center with Department of Tourism Region 7 Director Catalino Chan III as Keynote speaker.
In his keynote speech, Dir. Chan vowed that in the next year festival the DOT will help in planning to make the event more festive like the Sinulog and Lanzones Festivals in Cebu and Camiguin respectively.
The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist will once again showcase the famous “Ubi Kinampay” and other varities of Ubi in the province of Bohol during the 17th Ubi Festival slated on January 20-23, 2017 at the Plaza Rizal this city.
